Maintenance and upkeep of car air conditioning

Judging whether the air conditioning system is operating properly is actually very simple. If problems such as poor cooling, low air volume, or simply no cooling are found, it is necessary to check whether all components are operating properly and whether there is a lack of refrigerant. The refrigerant must be added according to the model specified in the vehicle manual. These can all be handled in professional stores. For us car owners, it is worth noting that the air conditioning filter should be replaced regularly. Generally, when driving on urban roads, we need to replace the air conditioning filter after about 3000 kilometers. This not only makes the intake system cleaner, but also avoids a decrease in cooling capacity caused by clogging of the air conditioning filter.

In summer, there is a large temperature difference between the inside and outside of the car. When entering the car, it is not advisable to immediately set the air conditioning temperature too low. You can first use a large amount of natural air to blow away the hot air in the car, and then do not close all the windows. Turn on the air conditioning, and wait for the body to gradually adapt. Adjust the air conditioning to the required temperature and close the windows. This way, our bodies will not experience discomfort due to sudden external temperature drops.

The temperature of air conditioning is not necessarily better as it is lower. The most comfortable temperature for the human body is around 23 degrees Celsius. In sunny summer afternoons, air conditioning should not be too low, as it can resist the scorching sun and ensure that the temperature of the environment where the human body is located is not too low, leading to air conditioning problems. At the same time, it also responds to the national call for energy conservation, emission reduction, and low-carbon environmental protection.

When turning on the air conditioning, it is best for passengers not to smoke in the car. When the air conditioning is turned on, the air inside the car circulates in a relatively closed environment. Firstly, smoke is not easy to dissipate, and secondly, small particles in smoke will adhere to the air conditioning intake filter, causing a long-lasting odor in the car.

Regular professional air conditioning system cleaning, sterilization, and odor removal maintenance.
